Working time.

Job. What a weird word to me. I haven't worked since Sept 2009. I got married, and then moved to Canada. I couldn't work. I was house bound. Which at times I loved, and other times I didn't like as much. I love being able to make Wes breakfast, lunch and dinner. I even love doing his laundry. :) Dishes on the other hand...I don't love so much. Hee hee I know I have been working around the house. I have been my own boss to a certain degree. Now I am looking for a paying job. This is the first time in my life that I don't have major pressure to find a really good job really quick. I have time to look and be a little picky. I also am ready to just WORK and make some extra income!! Today I have a job interview. It would be at a Flower Nursery. Could be fun. It's just down the road from our house. I hate the thought of driving over 30 mins each way for work. I know lots of people do it...I just don't want to! Wish me luck! I will keep you all posted!

Christmas Cards

I know the title of this blog may seem out of date. But I was overseas for the Christmas season, and my cards didn't make it out. They took a different trip, to the dump. I was thinking about the title of my Blog. So I thought I should share a little about being a newlywed. :)

I spent a day writing out our Christmas cards. We bought some at Costco( I know, sounds a little cheesy). But these were so fun! So I was excited to fill them out and send them to friends and family. I didn't know where I had put my address book, so I left most of them blank. I was headed out of town on the 21st of Nov for 2 months. I left the Christmas Card sending out to my Husband. I asked Wes if he would send them out. He pretty much said "NO". I'm sure he said it in his round about way...but I knew they would be waiting for me when I got home. I was okay with that. Late mail is still better than NO MAIL! At least that was my thinking. After I got back, Wes and I were out to dinner with his Dad. I was talking about sending out the cards late. Wes looked at me and said "Ooohh, I threw those away!"...ha ha I probably looked like I had just been punched in the gut. He said they were in his way and they were old now. Ha ha we have such different thinking when it comes to the small stuff. :) Guess I learned my lesson and do the Christmas cards in a timely fashion. So thank you if you sent one. Sorry you didn't get one in return! They are residing at the local dump!

OOOOOO Alaina!

I have a friend. Her name is Alaina. She is really cool! She has a blog too...but she writes even less than me. Maybe this will inspire her to get writing. She is so creative and funny! The world needs to hear her voice! She is so giving, just don't get in the way of her french fry! :) I love you my dear friend. We have almost been friends for 20 years! Wow! Where has time gone. Good luck and God Bless you today and always.

***Please note in this picture we haven't been drinking or doing drugs. This is just us! :)
